The Women’s Awards Goes National in 2022
Due to overwhelming demand from other regions across the UK, 2022 sees the Women’s Awards opening up a National (Open) Awards classification to complement the East and West Midlands.
The National (Open) Women’s Awards will enable women from across the UK to be nominated for one of the current fourteen categories, ranging from Outstanding Woman with Community Impact to Outstanding Woman in STEM. The prestigious awards celebrate the amazing achievement of women from grassroots to executive levels and have been instrumental in bringing recognition, and immense improvements to the lives of winners for their work and contribution in their chosen fields.
If you know any woman that deserves recognition anywhere in the UK, you can now nominate her within this award section.
Women’s Awards, Founder, Sandra Pollock said,
“We’ve taken this step in response to the many email enquiries and even nominations submitted from individuals, either asking when the awards in their region will be opened or submitting nominations from numerous areas across the UK that we didn’t cover yet. So, we’re answering a growing need to see more women recognised, celebrated, and rewarded for their contribution to all sectors and industries. A small step forward in bringing greater balance to the gender pay and recognition gaps we still have. “
In addition to this announcement, The Women’s Awards have now set the date for this year’s Gala Presentation Dinner and Awards celebration. This prestigious event will take place on Friday 9th September 2002 at Colwick Hall, Colwick Park Cl, Racecourse Rd, Nottingham NG2 4BH.
