SMB College Group Employee Raises Over £1400 (And Counting) For Pancreatic Cancer!

SMB College Group employee and East Goscote local, Tracey Lawrence, has raised over £1400 for Pancreatic Cancer UK following a successful sponsored walk!

Tracey, who works as part of the Cleaning team at SMB College Group’s Brooksby Campus, walked 60 miles throughout the month of June in the hopes of raising awareness and funds for the important work carried out by Pancreatic Cancer UK.

She was motivated to do something positive to help the charity after witnessing the affect that Pancreatic Cancer has had on people close to her, including two close friends.

When speaking about her achievement, Tracey said ‘I am so proud to say that I’ve been able to raise over £1400 for such an amazing cause. I want to acknowledge every single person who took the time to donate.

‘Thank you to my wonderful husband, family, friends and colleagues for all of their support. I am immensely proud of what I have achieved – but more importantly, what we have achieved together!’
