KUKU CONNECT LAUNCHES
at the glittering Lumbers Jewellers
Attended by over 90 businesses the evening sparkled amongst the exquisite jewels and fine Swiss watches on offer in the luxury emporium that is Leicester’s finest jewellers.

Business guests were welcomed by celebratory drinks and tantalizing canapés freshly served up by the award winning North Bar and Kitchen. Red pepper aranchini and goats cheese frittata, with Thai spiced chicken, smoked salmon and prawns patrolled the Connect Reception launch delighting guests as they exchanged in conversation and business details, whilst the old grand piano gently played adding an air of relaxation after a busy working day.

Welcomed by KuKu Connect Directors Stephen Goddard and Philip Brooks-Stephenson who introduced KuKu Connect and its mantra, “Connect, Indulge, Engage, Develop, Secure”, they spoke on reaching an audience of over 11,000 local people and businesses and the exclusive new Privilege Card, complimentary to members. Guests were then amused by the networking connections of Beverley J Brooks, MBE who officially launched KuKu Connect with stories of introducing Jane Asher to H.M. The Queen and conversations with Cynthia Payne, the famous madam.

Dominic Gomersall, Managing Director of Lumbers thanked KuKu Connect for launching at the independent, family run jewellers, which is in its third generation, with a legacy going back to 1881. Dominic and speaker Beverley both announced their intention to join KuKu Connect as did an overwhelming number of business guests who also joined KuKu Connect’s membership with many guests praising the evening as vibrant, fresh, relaxed, enjoyable, with a great buzz of excitement and a great new concept on business networking.
