Join Charity Link’s annual January sleepover

Leicester-based charity Charity Link is looking for guests to take part in its annual fundraising Sleepover on Friday 28^thJanuary.

This year guests can take part in two ways;

• People can join the Charity Link team sleeping out from 8pm on Friday 28^th January until 8am on Saturday 29^thJanuary at the charity’s office courtyard on Millstone Lane in the city centre
• People can take part at home, such as pitching a tent in the garden or spending the night in sleeping bags on the floor – or even get a group of colleagues together at the office / business premises

Guests are encouraged to raise £25, which, due to Charity Link’s unique way of working, will help to buy a bed for a local child who doesn’t have this basic item.

Charity Link works throughout Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire and provides essential items to people in financial hardship. The charity has been working to meet the increased need that has been experienced since the start of the pandemic and in December alone helped 461 people and provided over £73,000 of essential items, including food, clothing, cookers and fridges.
