Ventola Projects are the shining light at Cheshire Oaks re-launched Tenpin Entertainment Facility
Leicestershire-based recruitment company James Grace Associates has chosen local charity Alex’s Wish as their charity of the year. Speaking about the decision Mike Stinson, Founder and Director of James Grace Associates said, “I’ve personally known and have supported Alex’s Wish for many years but wanted to do more than in previous years. I invited Alex’s Wish to come in and meet the whole team so they could learn all about the charity and its mission to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
“The conversation just flowed and afterwards we had a meeting and spoke about all our different ideas for fundraising and we came up with a plan to set up an annual fundraising target of £5,000 that we would look to achieve through undertaking a series of activities throughout the year. The team had loads of weird and wonderful idea for fundraising activities and having met Emma decided on Alex’s Wish. It was important for us to partner with a charity that we could help to really make a difference, a charity that was fun and creative, but mostly a charity that had a great ‘end goal’ that they wanted to achieve. Alex’s Wish ticked all the boxes.”
Emma Hallam, Founder and Director of Alex’s Wish added, “It’s great to work with Mike again and lovely to catch up with him and see how his new business venture is growing successfully. We can’t wait to work with him and his team! We’d like to thank Mike and his team at James Grace Associates for their invitation to go in and speak with them and for selecting us as their charity of the year. We’ll work closely together over the forthcoming year to raise much needed vital funds which will go towards researching treatments and – ultimately – a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.”
