Foremost Security soaring to become the largest independent security firm in the region
East Midlands based business Foremost Security have started this new year with a real flourish, having had an amazingly successful year in 2019 – and they are looking forward to continuing this upward trajectory through 2020 and beyond!
Now one of the largest independent security firms in the region, Foremost can attribute some of their significant growth to the seamless takeover of Cerberus Facilities Management. Having been approached by the Nottingham-based security provider in July to discuss a possible deal, the Foremost team not only managed to negotiate the purchase, but also successfully retained and secured 80% of Cerberus’s clients.
Whilst this may have been one of their biggest achievements to date, it is still only part of this Leicestershire success story. A comprehensive security service offering – which uniquely involves no sub-contracting – and a continuous drive for client satisfaction (resulting in an average response time of just 22 minutes!) have played their part too, allowing this ambitious company to raise monthly turnover from £208,000 per month in January 2019 to £270,000 per month in December.
Even putting the financials to one side, the numbers for 2019 show an impressive performance: –
- Increasing the number of key holding customers from 635 to 877
- Increasing weekly guarding hours from 3200 to 4000
- Increasing Lock and Unlock services by 33%, from 25 to 39 clients
What’s more, in the last 12 months Foremost have welcomed 4 new staff members, including a Business Development Manager. Alongside this they have added 2 new vans to their fleet, which now boasts 8 professionally liveried vehicles. This level of investment in the future makes it easy to see why they are currently also reviewing their office location with a view to making a move in Spring 2021.
With in-house capabilities including Pro-log Fulfilment, Manned Guarding, Mobile Patrols, Key Holding, Alarm Response and Lock and Unlock services, there’s little doubt that Foremost Security have the kind of expertise which East Midlands businesses can rely upon – and do. Their diverse and growing client list includes Jeld Wen, Cold Harbour Marine, Enva Waste Management, Lowdham Leisure World, Bunches, and J McCann, to name just a few.
Sales & Marketing Director at Foremost Security, Matt Prince, has said:
“I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved in these last 12 months. As well as ensuring the smooth incorporation of Cerberus, we have continued to consolidate our existing business, expand our customer base and invest in our staff, our fleet and in new innovation. The whole team have worked incredibly hard and have shown their absolute commitment to strengthen our position as the biggest and best security company in the region.”
